Limited Warranty Policy For the United States

AVA ENTERPRISES, INC., DBA BOSS AUDIO SYSTEMS, ("BOSS"), is dedicated to quality craftsmanship and are pleased to offer this limited warranty using the NMMA guidelines.

BOSS warrants to the original end user purchaser that its BOSS Elite Products (defined below) when purchased in the United States of America (“United States”) will be free from manufacturing defects for three (3) years from the date of purchase or delivery (whichever occurs later). 

This limited warranty applies to and covers the following marine, powersports, and car products (the “Product(s)”): source units (head unit), marine remote controls, amplifiers, speakers, subwoofers. speaker and subwoofer enclosure, signal processors, rechargeable batteries either as freestanding or incorporated into other Products, audio zone controller, weatherproof covers, and accessories such as NMEA controller, speaker and power wires, terminals, and connectors.


Because BOSS cannot control the quality of products sold by unauthorized sellers, this limited warranty applies only to Products that were purchased from BOSS or a BOSS authorized seller (including an authorized OEM) in the United States, unless otherwise prohibited by law. BOSS reserves the right to reject warranty claims for products purchased from unauthorized sellers, including unauthorized Internet sites.

This limited warranty does not cover the following:

1.         Normal wear and tear;

2.   Damage caused by corrosion, mold, rust, sun intensity, improper exposure to elements, or improper storage;

3.     Damage caused by improper installation, improper maintenance, alteration to the Product, or the misuse or abuse of accessories;

4.      Product that is damaged as a result of an accident, airline, or freight damage (claims must be presented to the carrier);

5.      Damage caused by accident or abuse, negligence, misuse (including commercial use), improper operation, improper maintenance, or failure to follow instructions contained in the Owner's manual;

6.       Damage caused by act of God, including without limitation, earthquake, fire, flood, storms or other acts of nature;

7.         Any cost or expense related to the removal or reinstallation of the Product;

8.         Damage caused by repairs or modifications carried out by a third party; or

9.         Any Product that is purchased used, second hand, or is otherwise not new.

Remedies Under This Limited Warranty:

BOSS will replace, free of charge, your Product or any component of your Product found to be defective during the applicable warranty period. Replacement will be made with a new Product or a new component at no cost. BOSS reserves the right to substitute a product of equal or higher value and features sets to the original Product.

How to Obtain Warranty Service:

Purchasers of Products who wish to make a warranty claim based upon an alleged Product defect should contact BOSS by call 1-805-751-4853, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. PT or emailing us via warranties@bossaudio.com. Please have your part number, serial number, proof of purchase, a detailed description of the problem(s) for which service is required, and photographs of the Product on hand to expedite the process.  

In some cases, we require that the defective product be returned to us as part of the warranty process. An RMA number is required for returns and must accompany the return. In these instances, shipping to BOSS will be at the end user’s expense but return shipping will be covered by BOSS to locations in the United States. You must package the product securely to avoid damage during shipment. To reduce the chance of lost packages, it is strongly recommended to use a carrier that provides a tracking service. BOSS is not responsible for inbound packages lost by your selected carrier.

BOSS reserves the right to determine the cause of damage and the resolution of each warranty claim in its sole discretion.  BOSS reserves the right to deny claims in its discretion in cases of suspected fraud or if a customer has abused the limited warranty.

There are no warranties that extend beyond those stated herein. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES THAT MAY BE APPLICABLE TO PRODUCTS, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. Some States do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL BOSS BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES BASED UPON BREACH OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, BREACH OF CONTRACT, OR STRICT LIABILITY. Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State.

Please note that if the limited warranty does not apply, replacement parts may be purchased for repair.

This limited warranty supersedes any warranty statements that may be printed in Product manuals or Product packaging.
